夏とクラゲと東京熱帯化

くたびれたロングボードの脇をゆらゆらと
透明の白く色づいたゼラチンのような「クラゲ」二匹が無表情に通り過ぎた。
薄日の日差しも強くなった七月最後の日曜日。
間違いなく地球がおかしい。
いつものように茅ヶ崎の海に波乗り。湖並の小さい波をかき分け
ヘッポコなパドリングで沖まで・・。
ハイシーズン故に夏だけサーファーでごった返す茅ヶ崎。
波待ちをしていると数匹の「クラゲ」が私の足をかすめて行った。
・・・・速いぞ・・・
「クラゲ」と言うとやはり土用波後、お盆明の８月中旬以降、海に登場すると言うのが相場だが七月末に、やつらは姿を出しはじめた。
その後も波乗りを続けていると数匹。いや数十・数百匹のクラゲと遭遇した。
速すぎる。あまりにも速い「クラゲ」の登場。
遅い、あまりにも遅すぎる「梅雨明け」宣言。
乗れん。あまりに乗れんぞ、「俺の波乗り」
気象庁は３０日、中国、近畿、東海、北陸、関東甲信の各地方が平年より８～１１日遅い梅雨明けを発表した。当初は８月になるとみられていたが、日本周辺の梅雨前線が３０日になって突如消滅。気象庁的にも予想外の電撃発表であったらしい。
前線の突然消滅・・？！
例年の高気圧が張り出し梅雨前線を押し下げる「押しの一手」が
今年は全く無く、前触れもなしに突如姿を消したということだ。
梅雨が明けてくれる事。晴れてくれる事はハッピーな事なので○だが・・・
間違いなく、地球の様子がおかしい。
例年の気象データが通用しなくなっている。
また「梅雨ネタ」と重ねる様にオゾン層が壊れ温暖化や記録的な暑さ 記録的な豪雨。異常気象の話が連日報じられている。
未来予想図として映画でも描かれ、昔に比べ、よりリアルな映像が、臨場感を掻き立て「危機感」をMAXで表現、エンターテイメントな楽しみを我々に与えてくれているが、連日の気象変化の報道を観ていると、正に絵空事では無い。
スクリーンで観た映像が現実に起きようとしているのかもしれない。
「東京熱帯化」のニュースも何かで読んだ事が有る・・。
温暖化による異常気象が日本を熱帯化させて行くという物。気候の変化は生態系の変化が生じ、それを加速させるかの様な乱雑な動植物の飼育・飼育放棄による違法投棄。日本のロケーションでは生息し得ない生き物達が増えはじめているらしい。
「東京熱帯化」と聞くとクールファイブの東京砂漠〜〜♪がサウンドで流れる私は嫌に古い感じがするが何かワクワクしちゃう。
東京の高層ビル群にジャングルの様に太いツタが絡まり、見た事も無いような鮮やかな色の花が咲き。オウムや猿の「キ〜キッキキキキーーー」と奇声をあげる鳴き声がこだまし、女性はみんなヒョウ柄の布で大ざっぱにまいた水着で・・みたいな・・・
イメージも加速するけど熱帯地方のあの熱く湿気のあるムシムシ感と強烈な太陽の光は、どちらかというと、私的には、かなり大好物ではある。
が、間違いなく地球は「変化」の一途を辿っている。
熱帯都市東京は現実かするのだろうか？
ニッポン沈没は本当におこるのであろうか？
そしてクラゲは益々増えるのであろうか？
クラゲのうまい食べ方はもっとないものなのだろうか？
そして僕はうまく波に乗れるようになるのであろうか？
クールビズの効果はネクタイ産業を圧迫しただけなのであろうか？
クールファイブはこの時代を予想していたのであろうか？
いずれにしろ地球の様子がおかしい。
おかしくなった地球に我々は何ができるのであろうか・・・
そして遅れてやってきた夏の到来に様々な事件は絶えず起こる。
それでも危険だらけの地球に住む我々は
もっと人を愛し、地球を愛す。
アイス 愛す。
今できること・・
全てを思いやること・・・なのかもしれない。
やさしい人がやさしい社会を創る。
人にやさしくできているか自問自答する。
少しの夏の到来に花火のようなもの悲しさを覚えてしまうのは私の夏はまだ続く。
