小さな靴達の漂流
【テルスヘリング島/オランダ 12日 AFP】オランダ北部、ワッデン（Wadden）諸島のテルスヘリング（Terschelling）島では、数千足の靴が浜辺に漂着し、地元住民が「宝探し」のために集まっている。靴はP&Oネドロイド（P&O Nedlloyd）の貨物船モンドリアン（Mondriaan）号から嵐のため海に落ちた約10個のコンテナの1つに積まれていたもの。写真は10日、テルスヘリング島の浜辺で靴を拾い集める人々。(c)AFP/ARIE OUWERKERK
靴、多っ！
潮干狩りならぬ、靴拾い。
現代美術？ゴミの島？何じゃこりゃ？！と思って記事チェック。
オランダ北部のテルスヘリング島の海岸に貨物船から落ちた１０個のコンテナの一つに入っていた数千足の靴が漂着・・・・
よく、高速のど真ん中に何故だか落っこちてるペッチャンコになった革靴とか見つけるけど（あれ何で？どういう状況で落とすの？誰か教えて）あんなもんじゃない。大量ネタをここのところおっかけてブログってるけど、こりゃおもろい。
この靴どうなっちゃうんだろう？
捨てられちゃうのが半分で。使えるヤツはアウトレットで販売？残りは「宝探し」に来た島民が自分で履くか、ネットで販売しちゃうのかな？
「嵐に負けない漂流シューズ」とかいって・・売れっかもね・・
でも、あそこまでバラバラに漂着していれば、サイズと左右を合わせるのも至難の業でしょ・・
誰にも履かれる事は無いのはもちろん、店頭にも置かれる事無く光を浴びずに冷たい海水だけ浴びて姿を消してしまう、靴達。 モノの寿命って人の一生と同じで、予期せぬ事故に巻き込まれ、本来の目的を果たせぬまま姿を消して行くコトもあるんだな・・・・何て、ずっとこの寒空に冷たい風と海水に浸かって横たわる靴達を見ていると、何故だか偉く感慨深く思ってしまう。
以前、靴が、片っぽだけ無くなってしまう絵本を創った事があった。
いつも一緒にいる左と右のスニーカーが引っ越しでトラックから右が落ちちゃって残された左のスニーカーも持ち主から捨てられちゃうという切ない話である。
きっと、この靴達にもファミリーがあって、左と右の夫婦みたいなモノ。同じ形でサイズ違いの親と子みたいなモノ、色違いの親友。皆、店頭に置かれバラバラに売れ、家族が離ればなれになるのを薄々と感じながらも、人に「履いてえる日」を思い、履いてくれる人の様々な生活シーンを支える事に使命を感じ、強く生きようと未来を想像していた靴達。ところが嵐によって予期せぬ形で彼等の人生（靴生）は幕を閉じた。
これが人間だったらどんなに怖いだろう・・・
世界には靴も履けない貧困の毎日に苦しむ人たちが沢山いる。
嵐が彼等まだまだ履ける靴達のサプライズであったとしたら、
ガラスや銃弾の薬莢で傷つく世界の靴の履けない子供達へのサプライズとして、また海や空を渡り
「履いてもらえる日」が来るコトを切に願う。
靴は何処へ行くのだろう？
地球は何処へ行くのだろう？
そして僕は何をすればいいのだろう？
気になるのは嵐によって落ちた１０個のうちの他の９個。
それには何が入ってたのかな？
ブラジャー三万個がブラブラ島浜辺に漂着とかの記事が載る日も近い（笑
