え〜マンゴーと、それからマスカット。
あ、パープルとグリーン両方ね。
どうせならピーチにバナナ。リンゴもね。あ、動き激しいから、落ちないようにね。
等と、注文するのだろうか？それとも自分でこしらえるのであろうか？
何とも、楽しそうな衣装と、ハッピーな光景の写真である。
一度は行ってみたい、ご存知！ブラジル！リオのカーニバル！！！！今年も開催！
カトリックのキリスト復活祭の前の４０日間は禁欲期間となり、その前の数日間は超開放的に楽しんじゃおう！！というものらしい。確かに一ヶ月以上の禁欲期間は辛いだろうけど、その辛さの前の欲求解放！の、この超調乱痴気騒ぎはどうなの？笑 理由を聞けばなおさら疑問に思っちゃう。
リオのお祭り騒ぎ好きは伝統的で、1567年にはリオ市建設・フランス人追放を祝って人々が街を練り歩いたことが最初の記録、その後、ポルトガル王室のリオ移住や各種宗教行事など、どんな行事にも派手な衣装と山車で街を練り歩く習慣が定着。後に王室をブラジルに移したジョアン６世がポルトガルで王位就任した際、リオのお祭り騒ぎは 10日間も続き、広場には戴冠シーンや王宮の様子が大きな模型と寸劇で再現され、街路は色とりどりに飾りつけられ、ちょうどカトリックの聖週間と重なったため、宗教旗を掲げた人々もこの祝賀パレードに合流。
学者がこれを「リオのカーニバルの起源」としたんだとか。
ま〜このハッピーな国民性のマネは日本にはちょっと無理かな〜 でも見習ってほしいもんだな〜。浅草サンバカーニバルか〜？東京でもリオ並に何か企画してもらいたいな〜。
とにかくブラジルの楽観的でいいかげんな国民性が大好きな私。
郊外問題でも、取り組み方がいいかげんで大変よろしい。
ブラジルサンパウロは都市の成長とともに、光化学スモッグ等の公害が多発、国家的な問題となっていた。色々考えた末に、ブラジル政府はサンパウロの高台に、巨大な扇風機の建設に取りかかった。
高台の巨大扇風機で風を送り、都市上空の光化学スモッグを吹き飛ばそうという、何とも笑っちゃうと言うか馬鹿げてるというか、なんとも凄い発想（笑 よく、そんな絵本でも書かないような企画が国の予算として降りたもんだ笑
しかし、その巨大扇風機を発見した隣接国からの猛烈な抗議にあい、あえなく建設を中止したんだとか。そりゃ〜隣国からすれば、飛ばされたスモッグが自国に飛んでくるんじゃ〜たまったもんじゃないよね。
一事が万事ではないが、この、光化学スモッグ問題の解決法や、それをやっぱ途中で止めちゃう辺りのゆるさがたまらない。
そんな明るいエピソードの一方で、政治不安、汚職警官の増殖、宗教格差、公害の深刻化、貧富の差による治安の悪化。凶悪犯罪の低年齢化。様々な大きな問題も抱える、悩める国でもある。そんな暗い側面がありながら、人々は前向きで音楽と太陽と神に司られ明るくエネルギッシュに生きている。そんなブラジルという国の楽観的な発想と何処か人間臭い国民性が大好きな私である。
因に、昨年産まれたうちの息子はリオ。
そんなこんなで流石に今年、リオには行けないと思う。
所沢サンバカーニバルでも観に行くとするか・・
頭にフルーツと拳銃をさした悩める男の子を描いてみた。
彼は生きるために、強盗と窃盗をする。太陽と神を信じていながらも・・。
彼は何処へ行くのだろう・・僕は何が出来るのだろう
カーニバルは４日間続く

基本的に購入はできます。
