海賊版に思ふ

偽造品の７０％が中国で製造されている・・・。なんともとんでもない話だ。
この写真に写っているのは、勿論、≪偽造≫DVD・・・！
偽造品の中ＤＶＤの話で言うなら、先日、中国に住む従兄弟から、私の作品も中国で海賊版が出ていたという話を聞いた。なんとも、腹だたしい話。まさに、金儲け主義一直線な中国・・・。
みなさんは有閑階級の理論というのをご存知だろうか？

≪儲け主義は自滅への一途・・・≫
十九世紀の経済学者ソーンスティン・ウェブレンによる有閑階級の理論・・・。
『商業主義の巨大な波は、やがて芸術や宗教、文化をも飲み込むだろう。』
中国は、ただ「稼ぐ」という事だけに執着した結果が、オペコン品。いわゆる偽造品に繫がっている。
≪海賊版撲滅キャンペーン≫
近年、映画館に行くとかかるＣＭがある。それは、海賊版撲滅キャンペーンのＣＭ。これが、なんとも酷い。
ＣＭは女の子のアップで始まり、女の子の頬を黒い涙が流れる。そして、「私たちの大事なものが壊されている・・・」というナレーションが入ったかと思うと、女の子の頬を流れる涙が落ちる。・・・その涙は、黒い水の上に落ち、水面に骸骨の顔が浮かぶ。そして、再び女の子のアップ。「私は買わない。私は見ない。」というナレーションが再び流れ・・・海賊版撲滅キャンペーンというテロップが流れる。
見ていると思わず開いた口が塞がらなくなる。こんなＣＭを見て、何人が、海賊版を見る事をやめるのか？伝えるべき事があまりに抽象的すぎて、何も伝わってこない意味のないＣＭである。
大事なのは、なぜか海賊版が駄目なのかを伝える事であるはず。
≪クリエートする事の苦労・・・を伝えなければ・・・≫
我々、活動屋・・・つまり映画人は、血と汗を流しながら、一本の作品を完成させる。映画は、脚本家が一人、何ヶ月もの間、幾度となく脚本の書き直しをさせられるところから始まる。
そしてやっと脚本が完成すれば、資金繰りにプロデューサーは四苦八苦する。そして撮影。低予算であればあるほど、現場は厳しい。夜は寝られない事もほとんどだが、それでも一人一人の役者、スタッフ、監督が、後世に語り継がれる傑作になる事を信じて、がむしゃらになる。
そして撮影が終われば、暗い地下室にこもって、編集作業。朝も夜も分からなくなり、タバコとコーヒーで胃をおかしくしながら、作業をする。そして公開するまでにも色々な苦労があり・・・。しかも、各部署、賃金が安い。多種ある業種の中でもかなりタフな部類に入る業種だが、賃金は、最低ランクに入る酷さ。しかも何の保障もない。しかし、みんな映画が好きなのだ。
そしてそんな愛情を持って作った子供が、コピーされ１００円で売られる辛さ・・・。普通、レストランの料理でもそうだが、安い値段で作って、その三倍から四倍の値段で売るのが主流だが、映画は逆で、１００億かけた商品が、三千円程度で手に入る。これだけなんともお得であると考えて欲しい。
作る側の苦労と愛情を伝える事が海賊版撲滅につながるはずである。
≪おばあちゃんから教わった事・・・≫
昔、子供の頃、米を残すたびに母親に脅された。「お百姓さんの作った米を残すと、目がつぶれるのよ。」っと。私は怖くなり、米を残さなくなった。
大人になった今では、目がつぶれるはずがない事は重々承知だが、未だに、米は残さない。っというより「残せない」といった方がいいかもしれない。一種のトラウマの様になっていて、なぜか米が残せないのだ。
今、必要なのは、これである。子供から教えていけば、将来は変わる。ＣＭで意味もなく黒い涙を流した女の子を見せてる場合ではない。
奇しくもこのニュース写真。店頭で海賊品を売る馬鹿者の後ろに写る『心』の字がなんとも悲しい。
