夏だ！

昨日も夏の全国高校野球西東京大会で早稲田実業が日大三高を破って甲子園出場を決めるなど、各地方で続々と代表校が決まり、また、気象庁は漸く関東地方の梅雨あけを宣言したりなどして、いよいよ待ちに待った夏がやってきた、といった感じです。
今日電車に乗っていたら、若い二人組みの女の子のうちの一人が、「今年が十代最後の夏だね・・・」といったようなことをしみじみと言っていました。
それを脇で聞いていて、ああ、なんかいいなあ・・・、と思いました。何と言えばいいのでしょう、きっと彼女達はここ数年、来る夏来る夏を心の中のアルバムのページが増えていくような新鮮な感覚で迎えて来ていて、そのアルバムもこの夏が最後のページになるので、この夏を美しく飾りたい、とでもいったような、若い方々特有の美意識みたいなのが伝わってくるような言い方でした。
若者にとって夏はとても大事です。
ある者は「夏を制するものは大学受験を制す」という言葉を胸に受験勉強に精を出し、またある者は去年着ようとチェレンジしたけど駄目だった大胆ビキニに今年こそ挑戦しようと意気込み、またある者はこの夏こそ童貞を捨てようとヒートアップし、またある者は甲子園で白球に青春を賭けたりと、皆それぞれに、この夏を通じて一つ成長するのだと思います。
実際、彼らは夏の前と後で雰囲気がガラッと変わります。
私は以前、専門学校で教務職をしていたのですが、上京して初めての夏を東京で過ごした学生などが、夏休みを境にどこか大人びた雰囲気に変化していて、久しぶりに９月に会った時など戸惑いを覚えたことが何度もあります。
若者にはどうかこの夏を、おおいに有意義に過ごしてほしいと思うのですが、ただ我々大人サイドとしては、そういう若者にとっては、やはりある種の目の上のたんこぶ的な存在であるべきだと思います。
なにせ夏は若い方々を大胆にさせ、またそれをターゲットにした甘い誘いもたくさん出現してくるからです。
何はともあれ、事故も多いので、気をつけて有意義な夏を過ごしてほしいものです。
そして夏は、けっして彼らだけのものではありません。我々大人も彼らに負けないくらい、心のアルバムのページを美しく飾ることに執着し、熱くエキサイティングに過ごしたいものです。

２年も経ちます。。。私はあの頃入部したばかりだった部活ももう引退しました！受験の年です。２年前、まだ演技も完璧ではなかったですが。。。本当に本気になった作品が夏の疼きでした！たくさんの方に見て頂きたいです。今は演技一本でお勉強しています。また一緒にお仕事したいです！！よろしくお願い致します☆
