最近、キャッシングがとても身近になりましたね。
電子マネーも増えているし、その需要も、今後ますます増えていくことでしょう。
そんな中、先日、消費者金融会社のアイフルが、業務停止処分をうけました。それと同時に、この会社の、恐喝まがいの取立ての模様が報じられましたね。
あのテープの取立ての言動は酷いですね。しかもあのような行為を、男子従業員たちが自慢話として言っているという風潮が、アイフルにはあると言うではありませんか。
一方、アイフルといえば、例のチワワ犬のＣＭでお馴染みです。あのＣＭ、高感度たかいですよね。あれを見ていると、報じられているような恐喝まがいの取立てをしている印象など、微塵も感じられません。この格差、これだけ企業倫理が問われている昨今なのに酷いものです。
一昔前は、消費者金融のＣＭといえば、深夜の時間枠ぐらいしか報じられてなかったのではないでしょうか。そもそもかつての深夜テレビ自体、今みたいな明るさは無く、子供の頃こっそり見ていると、心細くというか寂しくなるような、地味でローテンションなものでした。自然、そういう中でやっていた消費者金融のＣＭにもそのような印象を持つことになり、私にとってそれらの企業は、つい最近までダークなイメージのままでした。ところが最近のそれらの企業のＣＭはどうでしょう。各社ともに高感度の高いタレントが、癒し系キャラとして登場し、明るく健康的な映像に仕上がっています。そしてあの、“キャッシング”という耳ざわりのいい言葉・・・。
ここで我々はもう一度確認しておかなければなりません。“キャッシング”と言うと聞こえはいいですが、所詮は“借金”以外のなにものでもないのです。
今回の件が起こったことで各メディアは、これら消費者金融会社のあり方を厳しく論じてほしいと思います。他の企業同様、これら消費者金融会社においても、成果主義を重んじる権利はあるとは思いますが、会社の上層部の方たちは従業員達に、せめて法を遵守させ、明るく健康的な好イメージがいっぺんで吹っ飛んでしまうような取立てについては、しっかり監視してほしいものです。
また今回、金融サービスを提供する側と、そのサービスを消費する側との、格差みたいなものを感じました。
今後もこれら消費者金融会社は、手を変え品を変え、我々消費者の心を揺さぶるような巧みなイメージ戦略を仕掛けてくることと思います。彼らは我々の財布の紐を緩くさせるのにそれはもう必死なのです。そこで我々消費者は、それらの商品もしくはサービスを、本当に活用するべきなのかどうか、冷静かつ適切に判断できなくてはなりません。彼らの戦術に踊らされないよう、しっかり地に足をつけ、正しい選択ができるよう、日頃から心がける必要があると思います。
今となってはすっかり影を潜めてしまいましたが、あのホリエモンが選挙演説の時に言っていた言葉があります。「これからは教育が変わらなければなりません。その中でも、お金の使い方の教育を、変えていかなければなりません」
この一点については、私はホリエモン氏におおいに賛成です。

消費者金融のCMはかわいらしいキャラや女性を起用し｢あなたのため｣とか言ってますけど冗談じゃないぞ。客のためなら金利を合法水準にして、客が死にたくなるような取立てはやめろ。おっしゃる通り家族団らんの時間に流すべきではありません。起用されるタレントもこんな仕事断るべきです。変わりにやくざを使いましょう。
最近やたらと目にする外資系の保険CMも怪しさ全開です。この会社は米国で粉飾決算やって巨額の罰則金を払っています。そんな会社信用できません。これから規制緩和の恩恵を受けた外資系が日本を席巻しようと目論んでます。日本の企業、がんばってくれ。
