オランダのローカルフードといえば、ハーリングのほかにもクリケットやエルテンスープがある。クリケットは、日本でいうコロッケ。オランダからクリケットが来日したのだが、日本でクリケット→コロッケになったらしい。じゃあ、具はジャガイモとひき肉か！？ と言われれば、そうとは限らない。カレー味もあれば、オランダでは最もポピュラーなローカルフードなんだと思うよ。だって、オランダには、駅や路上にクリケットの自動販売機なんたるものがあるのです。
