女ゴコロと春の空

4月も、もう半ば。早いなあ……。原稿書きに追われている間に、窓の外ではどんどん季節が巡っていく。桜が咲いて、散って、今ではきれいな緑の葉が風に揺れている。ああー、春だなー。春っていいよなー。英語の春、「Spring」は冬眠から目覚めたカエルがぴょんぴょん跳ねてるところからつけられたってきいたことがあるけど、カエルじゃなくたって飛び跳ねたくなる。
家に閉じこもっているのがツライので、原稿書きをほったらかして外に出てみた。……寒っ。しかも、さっきまで晴れていたのに、なぜか急に曇り。ぴょんぴょん気分に水をさされ、スゴスゴと家に引っ込む。春って天気が変わりやすいなあ。
■春は自殺のピーク
日照時間が長くなり、気温も高くなり、春は一年の中でも過ごしやすい季節だ（花粉を除けば）。年中行事の影響もあるだろうが、新しいことに挑戦してみようかなとか、目標を設定し直してみようかなとか、気持ちもけっこう前向きに。
その一方で、春は自殺者が多発する時期でもある。以前ある精神神経科のお医者さんに取材したとき、「自殺者の第一のピークは春で、第二のピークが秋」だと言ってデータを見せてくれた。その理由については、周囲の人たちのウキウキ気分や環境の変化に対応しきれないこと、冬から春へと向かうときの気温や日照時間の変化、など、いろいろ言われているが、まだはっきりしたことはわかっていないそう。「五月病」という言葉もあるとおり、確かにGW明けくらいから休学したり、休職したりする人も……。
先ほどの先生曰く、「変わり目が危ない」んだそうだ。ピーカン＆ジリジリの暑～い夏や、いつも曇天で底冷えのする冬など、気候が一定してしまえばわりと落ち着くらしいのだが、春や秋のように季節の変わり目で天候の変化も激しいときには、体調も精神状態もバランスを崩しやすいということだろう。
■女ゴコロと「？」の空
季節と精神状態を面白くひっかけたことわざに、「女心と秋の空」がある。秋の空と女性の心理は不安定で変わりやすいという意味だが、同じ意味のことわざを、ドイツでは「女心と春の空」、イギリスでは「女心と冬の空」という。ドイツでは春の、イギリスでは冬の天気が変わりやすいことからきていて、ちょっとおもしろい。
……そういえば「天高く馬肥ゆる秋」なんていうことわざもあったっけ。私は春、夏、秋、冬と、常に肥えやすいのだが、このことわざも国によって違っているのかな？

こんにちは～お疲れ様です!
多分スゴクお忙しいことは、なんとなく・・・いやいや、十分わかっておりますっ! マジでおつかれっす～
確かにこの時期、気分も体調も変化しやすいですよね～
私も先日から変な病原菌が入った?と思いつつ、
内視鏡検査をやってきました!!! 10年以上前に一度やったときは苦しくって仕方なかったのですが、今回は半全身麻酔!寝ている間に終了というすばらしさ～ 胃カメラのコードの太さが変わっていなくって、ドキドキしましたが、こんなところで進歩していてよかった! 結局何もなかったという結果を出せれましたが、寝ている間だったので、実は癌で今日親が呼ばれているのかも!なんてチェジウ並みの悲劇のヒロインを語ってみたいのも季節のせいかも。うふ。

5月というと、私は大掃除かな。英語でもスプリング･クリーニング(春の大掃除)ってあるみたいですね。その場合は3月ぐらいだそうですが、私は衣替えと合わせて、だいたい5月の連休に掃除してます。(行くところもなく…悲しい)

アヤシイ菌、何事もなくてよかったです～。まずはひと安心。でも、後半を読んでいくにつれ、またまた爆笑してしまいました。pregoさんの春は、やっぱりSpring系（ぴょんぴょん）だと思いました♪

GWは、私も大掃除ですわ。いや、自分にそう言い聞かせて、現在のとっ散らかった部屋を見て見ぬ振りしているっていうか。イカンなあ。。。
