今さらで申し訳ないのだが、やはりこの人について一度は書いておきたいと思う。元１級建築士・姉歯秀次容疑者（48）だ。先月、東京地検に送検され、これから耐震強度偽装の問題について、取調べが進むだろう。ニュースでは送検されるときの映像が映ったが、それを見て「おおお～」と思った人も多いのではないだろうか。彼はカツラを脱ぎ、丸坊主になっていた。
■刑務所では、カツラ着用は不可
姉歯容疑者が初めてテレビに登場したとき、偽装について他人事のように話す姿が奇妙だったのと同時に、いまどき、あんなにわかりやすいカツラもないもんだ……と微妙な気持ちになった。潔く丸坊主になったのは、いよいよ悔い改める決心をしたから！？ なんて、おセンチに考えていたが、ワイドショーにコメンテーターとして出ていたある弁護士が「刑務所の中ではカツラ着用は認められず、男性はみんな丸坊主に髪を剃られますから」と言っていた。なんだ、決意の表れじゃなくて、不可抗力だったのか。
■気になり始めるのは30.9歳？
週刊誌をめくると、強壮剤と増毛剤、キャッシングの広告が目に付く。薄毛は男性にとって気になるテーマのひとつであることは、間違いないようだ。
万有製薬が実施した、薄毛を気にしている20代～40代男性を対象に実施したアンケート調査（有効回答1100人。2005年12月5日発表）によると、薄毛を初めて自覚したのは30.9歳で、3人に2人が最初に自分で気付いたそう。思い当たる原因については、「ストレス」（67.1％）、「睡眠不足」（48.6％）、「偏った食生活」（38.6％）など。
ヘアケアにかける費用は月平均3,513円。実行している育毛対策は､「頭皮をよく洗う」(46%)、「育毛トニックの使用」(33.6%)、「髪を乾かしてから寝る」(26.7%)、「頭皮マッサージ」(26.4%)などと続く。こんなに頑張っているのに、56.6％が「期待したほどではない」と答え、「まったく現れていない」（29.5％）、「かえって悪化した」（0.9％）を合わせると、87％に達していた。
■「毛生え薬」は存在するのか
薄毛克服のための夢の育毛剤は、果たして存在するのだろうか。
今のところ医学的に効果があるのでは、と言われているのは、ミノキシジルとフィナステリドのふたつがある。フィナステリドは飲む育毛剤で、先の万有製薬から「プロペシア」の名で発売されている。ただし、医師の処方が必要なので、念のため。ミノキシジルは塗り薬で、ミノキシジルを含有した育毛トニックはすでに発売されている。
これらの育毛剤は、もちろん効く人と効かない人がいて、薄毛に悩むすべての人の切り札とはならないようだ。
■カツラ、気にする？ 気にしない？
ヘアスタイルでガラッとイメージが変わるのは、女性も男性も同じこと。薄毛に悩む男性は、転勤や就職など、環境の変化をきっかけにカツラ着用に踏み切るケースも少なくないとか……。自分の友だちや彼がカツラだったら、私もびっくりするだろうなあ。でも、一度カミングアウトしてもらえれば、後はあんまり気にならないかも。第一、コンシーラーでソバカスやシミを消したり、寄せてあげるブラで谷間を捏造したりしているので、人のことを言えた義理じゃないし。
そういえば、「ヅラボクサー」なんて呼ばれるプロボクサーもいたっけ。2度目の試合では、アフロっぽいカツラをかぶって登場し、イメチェンに成功。試合前にカツラを脱ぎ捨てるパフォーマンスも面白かったし。いっそのことカツラを楽しんじゃえ！という感じがいいなあ、と思う。
姉歯容疑者の丸坊主姿も、思いのほか似合っていた。耐震強度偽装にまつわるさまざまな疑惑も、彼の頭にみたいにスッキリ……とはいかないかなあ。

あの映像は衝撃的でしたね。
あそこまで、ゆっくり写させたというのは、見せしめのためかな？と。小物の被疑者は徹底的に痛めつけるマスコミに、
ちょっと違和感が。それにしても、彼はあの見え見えのカツラの下に、何を隠したかったのでしょう。
つるピカ頭は堂々と見せてもらったほうがいいほうに、一票です。

姉歯さんのカツラ、テレビで姉歯さんが映るたびに「いつずれるだろう」って気になってたんですが、丸坊主で登場するとは思いませんでしたねぇ...
こじ付けかもしれませんが、カツラで坊主を隠していたように、心の中も隠してたんでしょうね。
