＜06ツール・ド・フランス＞ペレイロ ランディスの結果発表を受け会見 - スペイン
【ビーゴ/スペイン 5日 AFP】自転車レース、ツール・ド・フランス（2006 Tour de France）で総合優勝を果たしたフォナック・ヒアリング・システムズ（Phonak Hearing Systems）のフロイド・ランディス（Floyd Landis、米国）のBサンプルの検査結結果が国際自転車競技連合（UCI）から発表され、Aサンプルと同じく陽性を示した。

ドーピング疑惑のフロイド・ランデスがＢサンプルも陽性反応が出た。これでランディスはフォナックを解雇、ツール・ド・フランスの総合優勝も剥奪されることになるだろう。
ツール・ド・フランスの始まる直前に起こったスペイン・ドーピング疑惑だが、これでヤン・ウルリヒやイヴァン・バッソがツール出場を辞退したが、バッソはジロ・デ・イタリアの総合優勝、ウルリヒはツール直前のツール・ド・スイスの総合優勝を果たしているわけで、今のところこれらの総合優勝に関しては剥奪などの処置は出ていない。とはいえランディスのドーピングで、今年の４大ツールのうち３大会までドーピング疑惑の選手が総合優勝したことになる。
ランディスが優勝を剥奪されると、総合２位だったケースデパーニュのオスカル・ペレイロが繰り上げ優勝になるわけだが、ファンとしてはどうにも後味の悪いツールになった。せめて、4大ツールの最後はクリーンな大会になって欲しいと思うのだが・・・
８月26日からヴェルタ・ア・エスパーニャが始まるが、またもやドーピング疑惑が出てくるのかと、余計な心配をしてしまう。去年の覇者ロベルト・エラスがドーピング反応が出て総合優勝を剥奪されているだけに、今年はそんなことがないように祈るばかりだ。
とはいえ、純粋にレースを楽しもうと思えば、今年は特に厳しいコースが設定されているようだし、本命不在で、目まぐるしいトップ争いが予想される。ツールで鎖骨骨折したバルベルデの復帰は微妙だが、ペレイロの活躍が期待できる。ツールでは期待外れだったディスカバリーだが、ヴェルタの優勝経験のあるサポルデッリが頑張ってくれるだろう。また人数不足のためツール出場を逃したヴィノクロフの巻き返しも期待できる。そしてペタッキが怪我から復帰するという噂で、どこまで頑張ってくれるか、これも楽しみだ。
今年最後の３大ツールだけに、最後を飾るに相応しいクリーンでエキサイティングなレースであって欲しい。
