＜自転車レース エネコ・ツアー・オブ・ベネルクス＞ジルベール 最終ステージを制す - ベルギー
【アン/ベルギー 23日 AFP】自転車レース、エネコ・ツアー・オブ・ベネルクス（Eneco Tour of Benelux）、最終第7ステージ（アン、201.2キロメートル）。フランセーズデジュー（Francaise des Jeux）のフィリップ・ジルベール（Philippe Gilbert、ベルギー）は、5時間5分16秒のタイムでステージ優勝を飾り、総合4位で大会を終えた。(c)AFP/VINCENT JANNINK
ご無沙汰してしまいました。エネコ・ツアー・オブ・ベネルクスでは、またもヒンカピーに災難が……。どうしてこうなんだろうか。
で、続いて今シーズン最後のグランンツール「ブエルタ・ア・エスパーニャ」が開幕です。ディスカバリーチャンネルはトム・ダニエルソンがエースです。このブエルタではチームの立て直しがテーマか。来年のツールを視野に入れて、どんな戦略を取ってくるのだろうか？
今年もフミのグランツールの出場はなかったが、フミは9月に行われるプロツアー最後のステージレース、ツール・ド・ポーランドに出場する。ここでの走りが来年度以降のグランツールの出場に関わってくることになるだろう。ポーランドのあとは世界選手権、そして、終盤のプロツアー3連戦、チューリッヒ、パリ〜ツール、ジロ・ディ・ロンバルディアに出場する。
世界選手権日本代表選手はまだ正式発表していないが、日本が複数枠の出場権を獲得した場合、全日本選手権の優勝者が無条件で選出されることになっていた。8月16日にUCIが日本選手の出場枠を3人と発表したので、フミの出場は決定と言っていいのだろう。
シーズン終盤、フミの活躍にもご期待ください！
