【シドニー/オーストラリア 5日 AFP】テレビ番組「クロコダイル・ハンター（Crocodile Hunter）」で世界的にも有名な環境保護活動家、スティーブ・アーウィン（Steve Irwin）さん（44）が4日、アーウィンさんは4日、ポートダグラス（Port Douglas）沖のグレートバリアリーフ（Great Barrier Reef）でドキュメンタリー番組を撮影中にアカエイに胸を刺されて死亡した。

スティーブ・アーウィンさんの訃報。テレビ番組「クロコダイル・ハンター（Crocodile Hunter）」は、ディスカバリーネットワークスのアニマルプラネットの番組。
昨年、本国のチーム・ディスカバリーのサイトで公開されたアニメで、フミも共演している（実際には会ってないけど）。また、RACE2REPLACEでもランス・アームストロングと共演していた。
いままでも危険な撮影をしていたんだろうけど、命を落としてしまうとは……。
ご冥福をお祈りします。
さて、フミの話ですが、世界選手権日本代表の正式発表がありました。ジュニア時代から数えて今年で7年連続の出場となります。そして、今回は念願のエリート男子ロードに出場します。昨年出場した個人TTには出場しません。ロード一本に集中します。私もツール・ド・北海道後すぐに、6度目の世界選手権に出発します。
今年の世界選手権は9月24日にオーストリア、ザルツブルクで開催です。そして今年、ついに日本でもライブ放送があります。J SPORTSがやってくれました！！
さらに、いままで放送していたNHK-BSでも、後日放送するとのこと。うれしい限りですね。
で、いまフミはツール・ド・ポーランド（UCIプロツアー）に出場中。第2ステージまで連日の集団スプリントになっていますが、前方でゴールしています。
このレース、実はポーランドのテレビ局サイトでライブ放送されています。画質はあまり良くありませんが、日本チャンピオンジャージが目立ってます。応援よろしくお願いします！
それと、フミは12月に行われるアジア大会の日本代表選手にもなりました。正直オフシーズンの辛い時期ですが、日本を代表する選手として「いっちょやったるか！」と意気込んでいます。メダル期待しましょう！

別府史之選手の世界選手権日本代表、おめでとうございます！正式発表、待ちこがれておりました（笑）。
ツール・ド・ポーランドもがんばってらっしゃるようで、応援する側も力はいっちゃいます。
実のところ、ツールが終わると毎年気が抜けたりってとこ、あったんですが、今年はヴエルタ、ツール・ド・ポーランド、世界選手権・・・と、まだまだ眠れない日が続きそうです（汗）

ポーランド語に四苦八苦しながら、HPで見ましたよ。

クラシック３連戦も出場されるみたいで、楽しみ楽しみです！
