■夏の日の思い出

夕方、いつもの帰り道を歩いていたら
茶色い殻から何か抜け出てくるのを見た
目が悪いので近づいてみると
セミが今、まさに大人になろうとしている
ところだった
えらく感動した
あの小さな殻からちぢれた羽と身体を
使って這い出そうとしていたのだ
私はじっとその光景を見ていた
いつ、全身が出てくるんだろうと
ドキドキした
大人になろうとしているセミは純白だった
家に戻ってからもセミの事が頭から離れなかった
上手く殻から抜け出たかなぁ
もう飛び立ってしまったのかもしれない
そんなことを想いながら
夕飯を食べた
雨が降ったり 止んだり
セミの羽は濡れてないかなぁ
ちゃんと雨宿り出来ているかなぁ
夜 雨の音で目が覚めた
なんだかソワソワして
ベランダから外を眺めた
雨がスッ...と止んだ頃
朝が少しづつ 近づいてきた
真っ黒な世界から
少しづつ 少しづつ
蒼色の空に
雨のせいか陽のひかりは届かないけど
空がだんだん 白くなってきた
おはよう。
あら なんでこんなに早く起きてきたの？
お母さん 起きてたみたいだから
ぼくも眠れなくなっちゃって。
そう。
お母さんと見に行く？
何を？
セミがね、大人になろうとしているのよ
もしかして もう いないかもしれないけど。
私と息子はいつもの帰り道に向かった
セミはちぢれた羽を真っ直ぐに伸ばし
少し、茶色がかっていた
良かった。
雨に濡れずにすんだのね
息子も見ていた
ぼく、こんなセミ見たの初めてだよ
鳴かないね
なんでだろう？
心も 大人になるのを待っているのかな
その時 ジィ！ と鳴いて
セミは素早く飛び立ってしまった
朝 ５時１０分
大人になったセミは目の前を飛んでいった
もう見えなくなっちゃったね
友達のところに行っちゃったのかな....
遠くでラジオ体操の音楽が聞こえる
すっかり朝になり 陽のひかりも届いてきた
夏の暑い太陽が起き始めた
セミの声は 夏の声
陽がのぼると セミの声も聞こえてくる
きっと セミは暑い夏が好きなんだな
土の中でじっとしていて
やっと地上に出てきて
とても嬉しいのだと思う
だから夏の日
毎日 自分の存在を確かめるかのように
鳴くんだね
ここにいますよ
ぼくも いますよ
夏の暑い短い日々を
精一杯 生きているんだろうね。

セミの羽化を見れるなんて、
今時めずらしいですね。
ぼくも、子供の頃に運良く
見る事が出来たけど。
羽化を見た事無い人の方が多いんですよ。

これですね。セミのお話。
あまりステキな話ではないですが、先日道に羽化途中のセミがありに運ばれていました。
これも自然の摂理。
やわらかい羽化したての飛ばないセミは大丈夫だけど、やっぱり「ジッ」と言って飛ぶのは・・恐怖です。 （＾＾）

羽化を見たのは２度目で、初めて見たときは
白い綺麗なセミを見て「すっ、すごい！！」と
思いました。
生き物関係、好きですね。
先日、とても大きな蛾を見つけました。
