■言葉にできない

世界で災害や大事件、または飢餓に苦しむ子ども達
大人は虚ろな目をし、「明日」という場所があるのか
もがき苦しむ。
それはたくさんの人生の中で、知識を増やし
子どもを産み、育て「自分」だけではない小さな世界が
出来たからだ。
私たちの住んでいる日本は、たくさんの食べ物
たくさんのモノが溢れかえっている。
街に出掛けるたびに思う。
ゴミや食べかけの弁当。
「いただきます。」と言いながら「美味しくないね」と
食べ物を残す。
美味しいものには長蛇の列。
それに飽きると見向きもしない。
何が良くてどんな生活が幸せなんだろうかと
時々、思う。
子ども達は無垢だ。
大人たちが虚ろな目をしていても
「明日がこないかもしれない」と思っても
大地を駆けめぐり、おにごっこをして
「今ここにいる自分」を楽しむ。
ここから 明日へ向かう気持ちがあれば
人は生きていける
明日へ向かうことを遮断されてしまったら
人はどう感じるのか
誰もが「明日」があると信じている。
自分は死なない。
死んでなるものか。と思うはずだ。
そう思っていても世の中がそうでなければ
どうすればいいのだろう。
豊かな日本に居る限り、想像ができない。
子ども達は言葉にできない分、
全身で「明日を生き抜こう」と思っているのかも
しれない。
災害があり飢餓があっても
子ども達は笑うことが出来る。
仲間がいて友達がいて
「今ここにいる自分」に恐れを抱きながらも
笑うことが出来るのだ。
そんな子ども達に大人は「明日」を
夢見みている。
