■ピアノは友達

■ローリング ストーンズが１２０万人以上のファンの前でライブを行った。
洋楽が好きな兄の影響で小学生のころから耳にタコが出来るぐらい
聞かされた。
年月がたち、私は子供達にピアノを教える人になった。
音楽は聴くのも楽しいけど、弾くのもこのうえない楽しさがある。
子供の頃から音楽は好きだった。
兄が洋楽が好きで、レコードを買ってきては大音響で聴かされた。
というか、聞こえてくるのだ（笑）
36歳になった今でも私はピアノを弾きつづけている。
職業：ピアノ教師とあるが、私には長い道のりがあった。
とても遠回りしてココにたどりついた。
■私の夢は6年生の卒業文集にも書いてあるように「幼稚園の先生」だった。
晴れて先生になり担任を受け持たせてもらい、好きなことを仕事にして、お金がもらえるというのは有り難い。
それから早くに結婚をし、ピアノと離れて生活をする期間が8年続いた。
私にとってピアノは「楽器」ではなく「友達」だ。
それも長く連れ添った四半世紀にも及ぶ「友達」だ。
その友達と少しの間、離れることに最初は絶えられなかった。
子供の頃からいつも傍にいてくれたピアノ。
結婚をして子供を2人産んでピアノを弾こうと思ったこともあったが子育てで気持ちがそこまで行かず8年間殆どピアノに触れることはなかった。
■そして現在は幼稚園教諭ではなく、ピアノを教える人になった。
このピアノの先生というのも私の夢のひとつであった。
ひょんなことから「ピアノを教えてほしい」と連絡があり、とても迷いがあったけれど
チャンスを受け入れた。
そこからが試行錯誤の連続。
夢中になって教えた。人にものを教えるというのは好きなのだけれど
ピアノの先生は、幼稚園の先生とはまた違う分野で教える対象者も年齢も様々だ。
「教える」ということにこんなに労力がいるものかと悩まされた。
学校での勉強は「人にモノを教える」ことは教えてくれない。
自分なりに考え、実行し、道は自分で切り開いて行かないといけないのだ。
ここで森の中に２つに道が分かれてると仮定しよう。
今まで経験してきた安易な道 と 何も知らない道。
前者はきっと気持ちも大きく揺れ動くこともなく、淡々と歩いていけるかもしれない。
そして動物だちが時々挨拶にきて、話しをしたり、
「そこをまっすぐ行くと、広い草原に出て、ピクニックができるよ」と
教えてくれる。
そして後者は歩き始める前から足がすくむ。この道の先はどうなっているんだろう。
誰もしらない、薄暗い森の中。動物達のどこからかの視線を感じながら、
おそるおそる前に進むだろう。
何か先に光りが見える。
その光りが自分の気持ちによってどのようにもひかる。
白だったり、黄色だったり、黒だったり。。。
私はあえて、後者を選んだ。
森の先に見えるひかりを自分の色に染めるために。
■自分のピアノ談義はこの辺にして、主人公の「ローリング ストーンズ」の話しに戻そう。
各国のミュージシャンの方々。
何十年も好きなことを仕事にして、何度も迷いがあっただろう。
そんなことないよ という人もいるかもしれない。
だけど、有名になり、その自分の音楽を継続していくのは他人にはわからないただならぬ
努力があったと思う。
そして何十年もファンに愛され、何万人という人たちの前で自分の歌を唄うのは
「ありがとう」のひとことにつきないだろう。
私は周りの人たち、家族、生徒さん、その親御さん、協力してくださったミュージシャンの方々にとても感謝をしている。
ここまで好きな音楽を愛してやってこられたのも、周りの人の協力があったからこそだ。
ミックジャガーが気持ちのいい汗をかきながら歌う姿は、音楽が大好きだからこその
汗だ。そしてファンに支えられ嬉しい気持ちが歌や汗、そして涙になって
ファンに伝わっているのだろう。
私は人が頑張っている姿が好きだ。
外見だけではなく、気持ちがだ。
こちらまで伝染するのだろうか
様々なジャンルにトライしてみたい。
私が8歳の時に、父がピアノを買ってくれた。
そのピアノを今でも大事に使わせて頂いている。
好きなときにピアノを。
私の大好きな友達（ピアノ）の家 studioも出来た。
私はそこに入って今までの思い出を奏でたい。
