■にゃン子の目（１）
【バン/トルコ 20日 AFP】鳥インフルエンザ(bird-flu)に感染した鳥に触れた場合、ウイルスは人間にのみに感染し、猫への感染の脅威はないと考えられている。ところが、鳥インフルエンザ発生の中心地にいる獣医には、感染からの保護のという理由で、有名な猫、バン(Van)と接触する機会がない。バンは、白い毛に赤褐色のもよう、左右の目の色が異なるという特徴がある。写真は19日、バン東部にある「キャット・ハウス・センター」で撮影されたバン猫。(c)AFP/MUSTAFA OZER
うちの実家で飼っていた猫に似ている。
名前は「しろちゃん」
毛並が良くて、ツヤツヤで。目の色は薄いブルーだったが
写真の猫とよく似ている
しろちゃんは野良猫だった。
一匹狼じゃなくて。。一匹猫。
いつも一匹でうろうろ動きまわって猫集団に入れない
はぐれもの。
時々、カラスにつっつかれて
他のボス猫とケンカして
だけど愛くるしかった。
そんな「しろちゃん物語」をお話ししよう。
しろちゃんは一匹猫だがうちに餌をもらいに
時々来る。
人間に警戒心があってなかなか慣れなかったけど
庭のいつもの場所に餌をおいて
しろちゃんが来るのを待った。
毛並みがツヤツヤしてて、最初は飼い猫だと思った。
でもカラスとケンカしたり、うちに来ると
美味しそうにご飯を食べるしろちゃんを見ると
野良猫なのかなぁと思い始め
ついには庭の窓をすこしづつ開けて
お家に招待した。
しろちゃんは顔をキョロキョロさせながら
私達が近づくと、さっと逃げて行った。
次の日も窓を少し開けた
昨日よりも広く開けてみた。
そうすると顔だけだったのが
身体まで家に入ってきた。
でもまだまだ警戒心は抜けてなく
その日はそれで帰っていった。
家の主人はしろちゃんを家族にしたがった。
生き物はダメよ。という声も耳を貸さず
とうとう次の日、しろちゃんは家の猫になった。
オスのしろちゃん
単純な名前だけど
しろちゃんがピッタリくる。
きっとどこかの飼い猫だったかもしれない。
もしかしたら、こんなに可愛いしろちゃんはお散歩
しているうちに
迷子になってしまって
そして、第２の家としてうちの家族になってくれた。
家の庭にカラスが来ると追い払ってくれる
いつもカラスにつっつかれてたしろちゃんは
庭の木の実をねらいにくるカラスを
一生懸命追い払ってくれた
家の中ではゴロゴロ
特等席は主人の愛用している椅子
しろちゃんが来ると主人はその椅子を譲って
しろちゃんにテレビを見させてあげる。
寒い冬
一軒家の主人の家はストーブをつけて部屋を暖める
しろちゃんはその前にゴロン～と座って気持ちよさそう
猫はコタツで丸くなるっていう歌があるけど
うちのしろちゃんはストーブの前で目をトロンとさせて
丸くなっていた。
娘夫婦が遊びにくると
しろちゃんは大忙しだ。
孫達に自分の安心な場所を取られてしまう。
なんだか落ち着かない
孫達が「しろちゃーん」「あそぼー」と誘ってくれるのだが
しろちゃんは一匹猫。
お相手はコリゴリだ。
そんなしろちゃんが散歩に出かけるので
私はそっと後ろからついて行った。
いつものお散歩コースは聞いていたけど
しろちゃんはどんなところを猫の目で
見ているのか気になった。
家の庭のフェンスから
ピョンと飛び出て
ニンジン畑の方に歩き出した
私も見失わないように玄関から
先周りをして駆け出した。
ニンジン畑はしろちゃんから見たら
きっと 小さな森
ニンジンの葉っぱって長くて細くて可愛らしいの
知ってた？
モサモサしているニンジン畑の中をあるいていくと
今度は子供が通れるぐらいの背の高さの草が
両脇に生えててそこはちいさなトンネルのように
なっていた。
私はその道を初めて通った
しろちゃんは警戒心が強いから誰かがいると
サッと逃げてしまう。
お百姓さんが通ったら、何処かに消えてしまった
しろちゃんのおかげで私も知らない道を通ることが出来た
このお話しはまた明日にしよう。
