■不思議な文字→言葉
【スーダン/エジプト 2日 AFP】27日、スーダンの首都カルツーム（Khartoum）から300キロメートル北部にあるメロエの遺跡発掘現場にあるピラミッドのひとつから浅浮き彫りが発見された。メロエには、紀元前250年～西暦350年の間に君臨したクシの王達の墓である、古い小さなピラミッドが約50もあり、スーダンの壮大な遺跡のひとつとなっている。ピラミッドは、ナイルから3マイル東にある砂丘に一面を覆われた岩石でできた2つの尾根の頂に建つ。川の近くには、後のクシの首都であるメロエの遺跡があり、アカシアの林の林冠の下には、王宮や寺院の残骸が見られる。(c)AFP/Gianluigi Guercia
文字が書かれる前、大昔の人たちは壁に絵を書いて
現在の私たちに知らせてくれました。
絵で何かを知らせたい、何かを言いたいと
思っていたのでしょうか。
そして絵から絵文字、象形文字、文字へと変わる。
「ひらがな」「くさびがた文字」「アラビア文字」「ジャワ文字」
「マヤ文字」「インダス文字」など各国あらゆるところで
文字が使われるようになりました。
エジプトでヒエログリフで書かれた『天国への案内』も
発見されています。
そんな大昔から、天国があると想像していたのでしょうね
壁に描かれている絵や象形文字を見るたび
人間というのは何かを伝えるために、この世に生まれてきた
のではないかと思うほどです。
今の世界でもっともよく使われているのはアルファベットです。
現代の人々は色々な文字を使いこなし、読んだり、書いたり
言葉にしたりしています。
先日、子供の友達が遊びにきたとき、「かるた」をやりました。
少し、季節はずれのような気がしましたが、
小学校に入ったばかりの子供達は「ひらがな」を覚えて
「かるた」というゲームをしたかったのでしょう。
一緒に「かるた」をやりながら「上手くできてるな～」と思い、
私も「音楽かるた」を作ってみようかと思いました。
学生時代に「ボケ・ツッコミかるた」を作ったことがあるのですが
引っ越しとともに捨ててしまったようでお見せできなくて
残念です（笑）
書かれた文字とともに言葉にも興味深いものがあります。
こうやって自分で書いた文字がネット上に写しだされ、
見ている人たちがココロの中で言葉として認識している
というのも不思議でならないです。
人によって受け取り方が違うかもしれませんが
言葉を発するということは、とても無責任だと思うことも
あります。
「言葉をかける」ということは相手がいて成り立つものですので
受け取りかた、相手の考え方次第によっては
１００点→０点に変わるかもしれないのです。
そう、考えると、無責任なことは言えない。
言葉をちゃんと選んで言わないと。と思うのです。
本にしても筆者は「こういう意味」と思って書いても
読者はそう、考えないかもしれないですしね。
今はメールがあって、机の前に座らなくても
携帯メールで何処ででも何をしてても相手に文字の言葉として
伝えられるようになりました。
顔文字（＾。＾）まであって昔の象形文字みたいなものですかね。
文字だけでは真意は伝えられないから顔文字という
気持ちの表現方法が生まれたのかもしれません。
人は文字を自由自在に操って
時には言葉を選びながら相手と繋がっていく。
大昔も現在も人間は何かを伝えたいのかも
しれません。（＾＾）

文字。昔から人間って自分の思いのたけを綴って、誰かに伝えたいって思ってたんですね。
CMで言葉・・翼、現実、とかとか・・・そんなのが最近やってます。
これも同じですよね。
言葉は宙を浮いて人の記憶に残り、文字はこうして何世紀も超えて後世の人に伝わる。
動物も文字を持っていたらよかったのになー。

いつもありがとうございます。
動物が何を話しているのか知りたくなりました。
本屋さんに行くとペット関係の本がたくさん
ありますよね。
鉛筆を持って動物たちがカキカキしているのを
想像すると、とても可愛いらしく思うのですが（笑）
人間と動物はココロの中で伝えあっているのでしょうね＾＾
