亀田について思うこと

亀田選手の疑惑の判定で世間はかなり大騒ぎです。協栄ジム出身の渡嘉敷、鬼塚の世界戦の時よりもまずいホームデシジョン判定。確かにこれはちとヤバイです。
マストラウンド制（強制的に各ラウンドでどちらが優勢だったかポイント差をつけなくてはならない）ですから、中盤の見方によってはこの結果も、まんざらありえなくもないのですが、仔細に判定を見てみると、亀田がボロクソにやられて、まともも立っていられなかった１２Ｒでさえ、韓国人採点者が亀田にポイントを与えていたりして、……やっぱりうさんくささ満点です。
いままで押し黙っていた大手メディアも世論を味方につけて発言しだしましたから、まさに社会現象と呼ぶにふさわしい事態に発展してます。
私もボクシングファンの一人として、某誌で亀田選手の売り出し方に懸念を表明しつづけていましたが、ここまでバッシングが盛んになると、もはやお役ご免といった感になりつつあります……。弱いものを叩くのは誰にでもできますし、今後メディアは、ボクシング業界の構造にメスを入れていくべきでしょう。
まあそれはいいとして、亀田の親父さんの髪。いいですねえ。ハゲの兆候もありえませんね。彼の仕事は解体屋。最高ランクの３Ｋ仕事。文句ない肉体労働者ですから、身体もしっかりしています。そういえば、肉体労働者にハゲが少ないという俗説がありますよね。あれ、気になっていました。
もちろん男性型脱毛は、あくまでも遺伝が主ですから、バリバリのワーカーでも薄い人はけっこういます（そりゃ、アフリカ・サバンナで狩猟・採集生活を送る人々だってハゲるんだから当たり前ですが）。
ともあれ、肉体労働者、若ハゲはあんま見ないようですね。かなり激しく染めたりしてるのに……。てことで、運動と脱毛の関係は、けっこう重要なんじゃないか------？ と私も考えておりました。
そんな折、運動の効用について衝撃的な体験をしましたのでご報告します。
重度の鬱になった友だちがいたのですが、なんと久しぶりにあったら全快していたんです。
彼の仕事はＳＥ（システムエンジニア）。ＩＴゼネコンでは２〜３次の下請けでほとんど睡眠時間なく、無茶なクライアントの要求と管理能力のない上司の間で、さばききれない仕事を抱えて、ついに鬱になってしまいました。
最悪の時期には、薬一日20錠近くを飲み、トラブルが発生するたびに、トイレに駆け込んで「早く死のう、早く死のう」と呟き、将来を悲観しては何度も自殺未遂を行ったというか彼が、きれいさっぱり治っていました。単に躁〜鬱のサイクルで調子が良くなったわけないようで、薬無しですでに何ヶ月も平気とのこと。医者のお墨付きももらい、どうやら全快したといって良い状態にあるようです。
彼は、いかにして治癒したのか？
なんと鬱のため自暴自棄になってＳＥを辞め、光ファイバーの敷設工事の会社に就職したことが良かったそうです。
猛烈にハードな仕事だそうで、一日数十本の電柱に登り、いらない電線を取り払い、必要な線をひく。命綱一本で地上７〜８メートル、ヘルメットを被っていても落ちたらヤバイ。生きるか死ぬかの世界で（実際けっこう死ぬらしい）、数ヶ月働いていたら、いつのまにか治っていたそうです。
なにしろ、鬱の薬を飲んだら意識が朦朧とします。いつでも（特に午前中は）眠い状態にあります。彼自身、薬が切れず死にかけたこともあるらしく、自然に精神が臨戦状態になり、徐々に回復傾向に向かう（向かわざるを得ない？）ことになったようです。以前は、さばききれない仕事量が彼の重荷でしたが、今は、「とにかく明日死なない」というのが最優先の目標になっているようです。（これはこれでイヤですが……）
というわけで、なんとまあ意図せざる荒療治を行ったもんだ、と感心したのですが、考えてみれば「戦場に行くと鬱が治る」といいますし、なるほど正しいアプローチではあったのでしょう。
体つきもひょろひょろだったのが、ごつごつの肉体派に変貌しており、手のひらは岩のよう。それから、髪。彼はかつてハゲとはいわないまでも、不摂生のために頼りない髪をしており、よく脱毛すると本人もかなり気にしていました。ところが今や角刈りで生き生きと密生していました（白髪はけっこう増えていましたが）。
とはいえ、本人は髪などもうどうでもいいというスタンスになっており、それもまたよい。
たかだか一年で、身体から性格まで、まるきり変わってしまう。人間の生命力の強さと柔軟性に、改めて驚いた次第でした。
ストレス、悩み、不摂生、生活リズムの乱れは確かに身体に大きな影響を与えます。彼はあまりにも極端な例に過ぎませんが、そうした外的な悪影響を緩和していくのが、精神と身体の健康を維持するためには不可欠なんでしょう。特に髪は円形脱毛に見られるように、メンタル面がかなり影響しますし。
やはり、運動やスポーツは、精神を活性化させ、人をアッパーに、ポジティブに、臨戦状態におきますから、おすすめです。
ランナーズ・ハイでクセになるというジョギングなどが、簡単で、継続できるかもしれないので、良いのではないでしょうか。あるいは、上達を目的として、なんらかのスポーツをたしなむのもいいかもしれません。フットサルのチームに入るとか、週末は公民館でお気に入りのサークルを探してみてもいいと思います。
私も本格的にスポーツやろうかなと思ったりしてます。そうそう、最近、なんだかやる気がでなくて鬱気味で。（いや、暑さに参ってサボりたくなってるだけか……）
