週刊誌の仕事で北海道に行ってきましたー。

〇はじめに―小泉農政に思うこと

日本の食べ物ってすばらしいのに。そういう感謝が足りないから難しいことを言い出して改悪するんじゃないですかね？まさに「品格」がないですよね、日本の食べ物はおいしいはずなんです。その独自性をよく理解して「おいしい」ということが前提にならなければ嘘ですよ。
ところが今、とにかく「メシがまずい」ですよね？・・この原因が何なのか、これを探さなければいけないです、なんとしても。そこが政策の立脚点ですよ。
〇遺伝子組み換え食品問題の総括
簡潔に書きますね。大豆ととうもろこしを見ていきましょう。
先ずとうもろこしについて。これは２００１年の段階では米国から９０％近く輸入してます。アメリカにとっては日本が第一位の輸出国です。遺伝子組み換えとうもろこしの作付け面積は米国が総生産の３４％、日本は０です。（２００２まで。）これに日本の表示制度が絡んできていろいろな問題が形成されるわけです。
大豆。米国の遺伝子組み換え大豆の作付け面積は全体の７５％です。（２００２。なお、日本は２００１年出典資料で第三位の輸出国。）表示制度なんですが、大豆から出来る食品のうち、しょうゆと大豆油に関しては「組み換えＤＮＡまたはこれによって生じたタンパク質が加工工程後に除去・分解、食品中に残存しないから表示不要」なんですね。これも要は組み換えの可能性あり、と。で、表示しなくてもいいのかもしれませんね・・。一方、残存するものは、豆腐とかおから、豆乳、みそ、みんなカテゴライズされるんですが、「重量比５％以上の原材料で上位３位までのもの」についてだけ表示義務があるんですよ。だからたぶんつかってもそのことは書かなくていいんですよ。＾＾；で、豆腐の話しましたけど、これは農水省の調べで「有機大豆１００％使用と書かれた豆腐」１８商品を調べたら１１商品で遺伝子組み換えが確認された、と。だから表示はあてにならないですね。（有機大豆というものにＧＭ大豆を含むことは禁止されています。）制度もわけわかめだし、もっとあからさまに違反もされていたようですね。だいぶ我々食ってるでしょうね。糾弾してませんよ、濃縮的におおいにありうるだろう、ってことです。
