きちんと「ぼんやり」する

ジャイアントパンダのタイシャンが満1歳に－米国

　動物園とかで、ただ寝転がっているライオンやトラやパンダやラクダを見て「せっかく見にきとんねん。もっと活発に動けよ」とかいう人がよくいるけれど、そもそも動物というのは食べるものに困りさえしなければ、そんなにむやみやたら

に動くものではなく、動物園でなくとも、自然界ででも無理なく食べるものにありつけるのならば、ときどき思い出したように体を動かすほかは、ほとんどは寝転がって「ぼんやり」しているもので、それは何もライオンやトラやパンダやラクダらだけではなく、もしかしたら、人もそうなのではないか、と僕は常々考えている。

　ほんとうは人も、食べものにさえありつけておれば、ただ「ぼんやり」しているだけの、見た目的にはとてもつまらない動物で、食べるものを確保するのでもないのに活発に動こうとするのは、それは様々な「人間、動かなければならない」的なすり込みによるもので、本来は無駄に動く生物ではないのではないか。

　そうなると、ただやみくもに活発に動いているのは、それはとても「不自然」なことになり、とっくにもう食えるだけの銭は確保しているのに、それでも寝る間を惜しんで働いている人というのは、生物としての「人的見地」からゆうと、誰に指示されるでもなく動物園で踊ったり歌ったりするパンダ(そんなパンダはいないけれども)のように、そうとう「変わった固体」で、しなくていいのなら、可能なかぎり何もしたくない僕は、人としてとても「自然な固体」ということになる。

　けれども、やっぱりそれでも余計なお世話の刷り込みはきちんとどこかでされてしまっており、それでなくとも人として「自然な固体」は「なまけもの」とも呼ばれるから、人としてあくまでも「自然」に「ぼんやり」しているだけなのに、頭のなかにはさまざまな「不安」がうずまいてないとゆえば、それはウソになる。のんびりと「ぼんやり」していればいいのに「ああ。私はこのままどうなってしまうのだろう」とか「それでなくとも短い人生なのに、時間をこんなに無駄につかっていてよいのだろうか」とか、そういう貧乏臭い思考が「ぼんやり」している僕の頭のなかをうずまく。

　そんな日は、本屋で本をゆっくり選ぶことすらできなくなってしまい、手にとる気もないくせに「ああ、こういう本を読んだほうがよいのかしらん」と、手にしてみたり、「いやしくも劇の本を書いているのだから、シェークスピアくらい買って持っといたほうがよいのではないかしらん」と、手にとって値段をたしかめてみたり、好きな本を好きなように好きなだけ読んでればいいのにもかかわらず、ま、貧乏臭いことこのうえない。

　とにかく「人は生きている以上進歩しつつげなければならない」というたちの悪い宗教のような刷り込みが、そうやって常に僕をさいなみ、簡単になまけさせようとはしない。

　そんなとき、感心しつつ、あこがれるのは、うちにいるいつまでも懐かぬ猫であり、たらふく食べてまどろむライオンであり、仰向いてこちらを見ているパンダなのである。彼ら彼女らは、どれだけ「ぼんやり」していても、そんな僕のような貧乏臭い思考におかされることは、たぶんない。心ゆくまで「ぼんやり」し、時間になれば食事をし、ときおり体を動かしたと思ったら、ふたたび「ぼんやり」し、気がつくと寝ている。「何もない時間」「何もしない時間」にきちんと正面から取り組み、何もする気がないのに何かをするなどということは決してなく、ごまかさず、堪能し、死んでゆく。

　それはなまけているのでも、退屈しているのでも、ましてや意味のない一生などでもなく、それこそが生きているということで、ああ私も何とか死ぬまでにそこへたどり着きたいものだと、パンダの写真を「ぼんやり」見ながら、貧乏臭く考える。

生来なまけものなのに、これでいいのだろうかと頭を悩ませる･･･よおっくわかります。わたしもまさにそうですから。
最近コメントが一番乗りなのも「こいつ暇なんだろうなあー」と見ている人達は思ってるだろうけど、ネットをするくらいがせいぜいわたしにとって「なにかしている」事なのです。RSSとゆう機能にこちらのブログを登録してあるので、更新されると知らせてくれるから早いとゆうのもありますが、これは言い訳で、それも常にパソコンに張り付いてるからわかるってことで。
こんなていたらくなのに、もっと何かしなくては、と思ったり、バリバリ働く人を見聞きしては自己嫌悪にさいなまれること毎日です。わたしも「それこそが生きているということ」という悟りを開きたい・・・。かなり難関です。
それにしても山下さんちの猫ちゃん。やっぱり懐きませんか・・・(^_^;)
長年猫を飼ってきたベテランの山下さんを手こずらせるとは、なかなかのつわものですね。まあ、そんなところも可愛いとゆうことで・・・。
うちは先週、３匹目になる仔猫を引き取ってきたところ、少ししたら、ものすごい人見知りだった先住猫たちが、お客さんが来ても逃げなくなりました。彼らの中でどうゆう心境の変化があったのか、聞いても素知らぬ顔をして迷惑そうに横を向くか、にゃーと猫語しか言わないのでわかりませんが、とても不思議です。

最近忙しくて、〈きちんとぼんやり〉出来ていません(-_-;)
時間の使い方が悪いのかも…
〈きちんとぼんやり〉するためにテキパキ合理的に動くとは
なんとも不可解…(笑)
でも、ずーっと〈きちんとぼんやり〉するのも大変で…
たまにするのが心地よい（*^_^*）
