モナリザの微笑には83%の幸せ、9%の嫌悪感、6%の恐怖感、2%の怒り - フランス

「モナリザの微笑み」は83%の幸せ、9%の嫌悪感、6%の恐怖、2%の怒り、なのだそう。
ちなみに78%の幸せ、11%の嫌悪感、8%の恐怖、3%の怒りなどではけしてなく、「だいたいほとんどが幸せでぇ、でもちょっと不幸せ？」といった曖昧な物言いでもないのである。幸せは82%でも84%でもなく、83%なのである。いくら問いつめられてもそうなのである。そうだとゆっているのだからそうなのである。厳密を常とする科学者の凄みが、若干のおかしさと共に漂っているではないか。描いた当人のレオナルド・ダ・ヴィンチにだって「ちょっと違うけど」とは思いつつも、はっきりとは「違う」と言えないであろう断定であり、断定する潔さであり、ちょっと殴ってやろうかと思わないでもない頑なさである。
世の中にはほんとうに様々な研究があり、そしてそんな様々な研究を耳にし目にするにつけ思い出すのは、今は亡き父の姿である。
父はその昔、競馬の出目を予測するキットを独自に研究し半年がかりで作り上げた事がある。ボール紙で作られた円盤状のキットには小さな数字がびっしりと書き込まれており(「ここに大きな秘密があるんや」とよく父は自慢げに語っていたものである)、その上にもう１枚「天候」「季節」「開催地」「前走の成績」等といったいくつかの設問が書かれた、これまたボール紙で作られた小さな盤をあてがい、その下に開けられた穴から見える数字を読むのである。ただ馬券を買う際には、その出目で読んだ数字から「1」ないし「2」、ないし「3」、ないし「4」、ときには「5」、を足したり引いたりしながら、実際に走る馬のその日の調子、騎手の具合などを見て、再び長考にふけり、時には出目とはまったく関係のない数字で馬券を購入したりするのだけれども。それなら、そんな複雑なキット、および計算はいらないのではないかと子供心に思わないでもなかったけれども。
ともかく。死ぬまで父はそのキットを手放さず、毎回必ず出目を読み、人に貸す事もなかった。そりゃそうである。命の次に大事な、いやむしろ命より大事なお金を長年そそぎ込み、血のにじむ思いで培った「お馬さんのかけっこ」に対するノウハウと、大量のボール紙代およびノリ代、半年にわたる試行錯誤の末、作り上げた「お父ちゃんの出目表」なのである。役に立つか立たないかなど重要ではない。ろくに働きもせず母や妹に忌み嫌われながら作り上げた父の営みの結晶なのである。
アムステル大学さんとイリノイ大学さんで共同開発されたというこの「感情認識ソフト」。唇の曲がる角度や目の回りのシワ等を読み取り算定し感情を読み取るらしい。「いつも笑ってて気持ち悪い」と陰口をたたかれる、顔の基本形が「笑い顔」の知り合いが僕にはおり、そんな「不気味顔」でもきちんと読み取ってもらえるのか気になるところではあるけれども、そこは作り上げたのは父ではなく、ヨーロッパの学者達である。寸分違わず正確に読み取ってくださるに違いない。
そしてもし「だから何だ」とつまらぬ奴に問われたら「おもしろいでしょ」と素敵に微笑み返してくれるに違いない。

こんにちは。初めてコメント書かせていただきます。
西洋人が論理（理屈）で、東洋人は感覚でものを説明しようとするとよく
いわれるようですが
モナリザの「おかしみ」は、どちらでもやっぱりとらえようが
ないかんじがしますよね。そこがおかしいところです。
私も同じ写真について書きながら山下さんと同じようなことを
考えていました。そう、最後の「だから何だ」といわれたら
「だってそういうことだから」
とそういうことなのですよね。（と、あまり説明になっていませんが）
またお訪ねしますね！次回も楽しみにしています。

絵画について常々思うのは
それは描き手の主観でしょ？…ということである。
プロがどれほどの観察力と瞬間の焼きついた表情を覚えていられるのか
非凡な私にとって想像しがたいもの…
モナリザの微笑…というからには、やっぱり基本は微笑みで…
タイトルに感化される感もあるし…
でも、先日、ダヴィンチの偽者が描いたとされる絵画をテレビで観たが
非凡な私にでさえ、本物のモナリザの奥深い筆と色の質感には
改めて感動した。
良い物は良いのである。
研究する人の主観がどれほど含まれているのかはわからないが
客観的に論理的に解明されるということは、ちょっとおもしろい。
まるで答え合わせをしているようで…
やっぱりそうだよね！となると、ちょっと得意げになれるし
え～～↓ それは違うよ~~というのも、ちょっと論じてみたくなる。
結局、好きってことなんだよね。そういうことが☆
没頭できるものがあるって、幸せなことだよね～～
今の私は、何に興味あるのかな～～ふと、考えてみる…
