流し場

スポーツの起源というのは聞くとずいぶん「残酷」から発生しているものである。「槍投げ」とか「射撃」、「アーチェリー」とか「格闘技」などはとてもわかりやすい「人殺しの術競技」だけれど、「ラグビー」などもそうであろう。賢い大学の人達がとても怖い顔をしてあのいがんだ玉を追いかけ回している姿など、獣が獲物の取り合いをしている姿にしか見えない。
このあいだ「うさぎ」を蹴飛ばして遊んでいた子らが捕まっていたけれど、そもそも「サッカー」という競技は敵の頭を切り落とし蹴飛ばして遊んでいたのが発祥という説もあるらしいので、それらから読み解くと、先祖帰りした「サッカー」といえなくもない。ま、「うさぎ」が彼らの敵であったかどうかはともかく。
動物というのはそもそも「残酷汁」を内蔵しているものである。猫などかわいい顔をして、よりかわいい子ネズミを、食うでもなく死ぬまでいたぶる。
人もそう。原始の昔から体内に「残酷汁」を内蔵している。しかし人はそうそう頻繁に「残酷汁」を垂れ流す訳にはいかない。なにせ社会生活というものがある。社会生活というのは「残酷汁」を出来るかぎり流さないことを前提として成り立っている。が、人の持つ「残酷汁」が体内から消去された訳ではない。ないので絶えず「残酷汁」はたまり続けている。だから「流し場」がいる。「戦争」というのはそういう意味で一種の「流し場」なのだろうけれども、お金がかかるし無意味にたくさんの人が死ぬし「流し場」としてはあまりにも知恵がなさ過ぎる。そこで生まれたのがおそらく「スポーツ」もしくは「お祭り」であり「芸術」である。
「スポーツ」に熱狂したり、「お祭り」でハメをはずしたり、一心不乱に「小説」を読んだり「映画」を見たりしている人が、少し怖いのはそういう理由である。
インドのある地方では、アゴ回りの屈強な者どもが、今日も仕事を終えると、早くも「第７２回田舎オリンピック」にむけて、裏庭で口に自転車をくわえこみ持ち上げている。仕事場では無口なマハトマも、自転車を口で持ち上げるときだけは別人である。横でストップウォッチをかまえた妻・ルピーに激しく指示をとばす。
「僕がきちっとここまで上げてからストップウォッチをスタートさせてよっ」
「そこねっ。そこで押すのねっ」と、おしとやかと評判のルピーのテンションも上がり気味。そんな両親を窓から怖々のぞいているマハトマ・ジュニアと妹のサリー。幼い２人にはまだ、人が持つ「流さぬではおれぬ汁」の存在など知るよしもない。しかし、いずれ２人にも父と母が何ゆえに自転車を口で持ち上げていたのか、その深淵な意味がわかる日が来る。
「うさぎ蹴り」の子らに「うさぎさんがかわいそうじゃないか」とゆったところで何の解決にもならない。その子らにきちんと「汁の流し場」を提供してやる必要がある。でないとたぶん、また「うさぎ」を蹴る。

気づいた人にだけに読まれれば気が楽なような気がして…(笑)
山下さんに気づかれなかったら…はははっ…（涙）
フォログの歴史も増えましたね。
この『流し場』っていうのは、当時とても印象的で
2年後、こんなに山下さんとFICTIONを
心のよりどころとしている自分を想像出来なかった。
当時は母の介護で忙しく、たまに見ることで息抜きをさせてもらっていました。
なんだか、急いでなくて、のほほんとしていて
でもガツンと気持ちがつかまれる心地よさ。
｢～かもしれない｣は、まぎれもなく、私の『流し場』でした。
そして、環境が変わった今は、無くてはならない生活の一部になっています。
このフォログを楽しみにしている人は、たくさんいると思います。
誰もコメントしなくなっても、アクセスカウントが増えれば
山下さんは続けてくれるのかな？
でも、コメントを、日々の重要な楽しみにしていてくれるという言葉
「いやよ、いやよ、は…好きでは無く、やはり、いやよ、なのだ」
（この回も良かった…アレ？『構成員の日々』の方!?）
という裏を読まない（読めない!?）ストレートな向き合い方の山下さんなのだから
こちらも気にせず向き合います。
フォログを読んで、受けとめた、感じた、思ったことは
思い巡らすのも楽しいけれど、きちんとコメント表現したいと思います。
それが、山下さんの次への助走になると信じて。
でも、なかなか思い巡らしても、まとまらなくて
その間に、昔のコメントの断面を思い出したりして違う方向へ…
まとまらない途中もまた逆に良いのかもしれないけれど
それじゃ、私もツライし…^_^;
最近、ついさっき思いついたことが、思い出せなくなったりして（笑）
