おなじ顔

ふだんはそれぞれ個別の顔をしているが、ときおり皆一様に同じ顔つきになる瞬間というものがある。
例えばうんこをするとき、きまってみな一様に哲学者の顔になる。そんなにたくさんの「うんこをする顔」を見たわけではないので、断言するにはサンプルが少なすぎる気がしないでもないけれど、数少ないとはいえ、幼少の頃からの観察によると、人はうんこをする時とても哲学的な顔になる。カラスを人より賢いと言って、学校の先生に対するときよりも丁寧にカラスを「さん付け」で呼んでいた友達もうんこをする時だけは、もしかしたら普段は仮の姿で、ほんとうはきちんと話の出来る男なのではないかと思わせるほど哲学的な顔をしていたものである。
これは猫にもゆえることで、今まで数匹の猫を飼ってきたけれど、どの猫もうんこをする時だけはとても賢そうな、いい顔をする。
病人もそうである。軽い病気ならまだしも、重病となったとたん人は同じ様な顔つきになる。
「エロ」がらみの男の顔もそうらしい。「エロ」に対する嗜好の差はあっても、そのときの顔つきはみな同じような顔つきになる。若い頃、はじめてストリップを見に行ったとき、そこで見たストリップよりも記憶に残っているのは、同じ顔をして踊り子の股間を見つめる客の顔である。ま、僕も同じ様な顔をしていたのに違いないのだけれども。瞳孔の開いた眼光すさまじい目つきと、そのくせ少し笑ったようなあの数十人の男らの顔は、もうずいぶん時間は経っているけれど、忘れられない。
どうやら人は「うんこ」をしたり、重い「病気」を煩ったり、「エロ」がからんだりという、見繕ったり飾ったり出来なくなる、何て言うか「個性」と呼ばれるものがはぎ取られた瞬間、同じ様な顔つきになるらしい。
このバカ丸出しの写真から、人の「個性」とは何ぞやという、まあ僕の視点らしい話題へ飛べるのも、再三書くが、怒濤の公演の日々から解放されたからであり、人は時間があって落ちついたとき初めて「個性」というものが顔をのぞかせるという事なのである。

余裕があってこその個性ですか…
ん～ん、言えてますね(-"-)
私は、焦っている人に引きづられて、自分もなぜかあせってしまう性質なので
流されないように、距離を置いたり、客観的に事の分析を図って落ち着こうと
心がけています。
しかしそれも、かなり流れに抵抗するパワーが必要…
結局は護るばかりで、そこに個性はかけらも無いのかも…
どの程度の個性が必要なのかは疑問ですが
味のある年齢を重ねていけたら良いな～～と思っています。

日本で最初にストリップみたのが興行されたのは、終戦直後、新宿。
興行されたのは「額縁ショー」とかで、その時は、ストリップと言わず、「ヌードショー」
と呼ばれていたらしい。
確か日本で最初のストリッパーで、名ストリッパーと言われた女性が
ジプシー・ローズ。３０才ちょっと過ぎで、壮絶な生き様の中にその
生涯を遂げた。
彫りの深い顔立ちで名花を言われたらしいけど、歴史に名を残すとは、どんな女性だったんだろう。
何年前かしら。ブロードウェイで、アメリカに実在した伝説のストリッパーのことがミュージカルになった。
その主人公のストリッパーの名前が、「ジプシー・ローズ・何々」。
ああ、日本の「ジプシー・ローズ」の芸名は、この人からとったのかしらとその時、
ぼんやり思ったものだった。
