いくら「あわせよう」としても「あわせられない」のだから、いつの頃からか「あわない」のは「あわせられない」のではなくて「あわせないのだ」ということにしている。
「あわせよう」としても「あわない」僕を見て人は「何故あわないのか」と聞いてくるけど「あわない」ことの理由がわかっているのなら「あう」の
だから「何故あわないのか」を誰よりも知りたいのは、他でもなく僕であり、むしろ僕の方こそ「何故あうのか」と問いたいわけで。
けれども哀しいかな、そう聞いたところで、むこうは何も苦労して「あわせている」わけではなく「苦もなくあわせている」だけのことであるからうまく説明することが出来ず、そしてそれはこちらも同じで苦労して「あわせない」のではなく「苦もなくあわない」わけで「苦もなく」という部分では同じであるからやっぱりうまく説明できず、結局お互いぼんやりしてしまう。
こうして、いつまでたっても、あちらはこちらががわからず、こちらはあちらがわからない。
ようするに。「苦もなく出来る」もしくは「苦もなく出来ない」ことというのは、どちらにせよ説明不能なのである。天才がうまく人に教えることが出来ないのは同じような理由からだと思われる。
だから説明してもわかりあえぬものを無理してわかりあおうとすることもないし、「違う人がいる」と理解すればそれですむと思うのだけれど、それでもやっぱり「あわず」にいると「あわない」僕をはじめて見た「あう」人は「何故あわないのか」と聞きにくる。
なのでもうめんどうくさいから「あわせられない」のではなく「あわせないのだ」ということにした。少し勇気がいったけれど、そうした。それでも物足りなさそうなら「どうしてあわせないか」を少し捏造して付け足してやることにした。するととたんに、たいがいの人は納得するようになった。そうなると「あの人は無理してあわせていないらしい」ということとなり、厳密にゆえばそれは「うそ」なのだけれど、どんどん「そういう人」ということになり、すると何となく自分でもそんなような気がして「僕は本来そうだったのかも」と思いはじめて「虚言」という単語がちらつき少しあわてたりするけれど、ま、それでべつに誰かを貶めているわけでもなし、ずいぶん楽にもなったから、この頃は「もともとそう」ということに自分でもしている。
歩調があわせられない山羊。
おそらく奴は僕と同じで「苦もなくあわせられなかった」のだろう。けれども山羊だから、僕のように「わざとあわせてない」などと小賢しい「うそ」をいい張るわけにも、それで楽になるわけにもゆかず、「あわせろあわせろ」と叱咤され続けて結局どこかへ飛ばされた。どこかでのんびりやってればいいけれど、もしかしたら食べられたのかもしれない。
だいたい、人に「あわせろ」とゆわれて「あわせている」山羊の方こそ山羊的にゆえば問題がある。人でも出来ぬ者がいるのに、何をそんな山羊ごときが聞き分けているのか。聞き分けの良い猫など猫ではないのと同じで、人の歩調に「あわせられる」山羊など山羊ではない。「あわない」山羊に「あわせろ」と叱咤するより、「あう」山羊にこそ「あわせるな」と叱咤すべきである。
人はすぐ「人のいうことを聞く獣」を「かしこいねえ」というけれど、そんなものは「かしこい」のでもなんでもなく、そんなものはただ人にとって都合がいいだけのことで、だから聞き分けの良い獣を見たときは「かしこいねえ」じゃなくて「都合がいいねぇ」というべきで、人にとっての都合なんかおかまいなしな獣の方が、獣として「正しい」に決まっている。

この山羊さん、Windsorなんて現イギリス王朝の名前までつけられちゃって。代々連隊の一員山羊の血筋なのか、はたまたたまたま競りで買われてきたのか･･･。
山羊の知能がどれだけ高いかわからないけれど、中学の頃、反復横とびの歩調が最初イマイチ飲み込めなかったわたしとしては、山羊が人間の行進に合わせて歩くなんて曲芸ができるとゆう事が不思議。それともわたしの運動知能が山羊より劣っている？
猫もあんな小さい頭の中にある、小さいだろう脳みそなのに、結構いろんな物事がわかっている。でも人間に都合良く合わせて行動しない。
それが動物らしい動物だし、そんな所もかわいい。
軍隊って人間だけでなく、動物にまでハイレベルを求めるのね･･･。

説明してもわかりあえぬバヤイ、ほっときゃエエのに、無理にわかりあおうとしたとき、相手にわかる説明をすると、厳密には「うそ」になる。 ・・・ その通り！
家内と喧嘩になって、黙ってしまうのは、負けたンぢゃない。
「うそつき」になりたくない。

私も気づいてみると結構な年齢で大人なんですけれど
親にとって都合がいい…面倒の無い聞き分けの良い子供になれない自分は常に姉妹の中で劣等感がありました。
抵抗するより流れに身を任せてみれば
親も機嫌がよく笑顔に溢れた円満家族になれるのかもしれない。
でも、そこに私というものは生きているのか…
私じゃなくても良いのかもしれない。
蓄積される違和感と折り合いがつかなくなったら
一家で新聞に載ってしまうのかもしれない…そんな事件最近多いよね。
私が死んだらこの世も事実私の中で消滅する。
なら、やっぱり「あ～良く生きた」と最期に思えるように
「無理にあわせない」ことも時には大事なのだと思うし、思いたい。
非難も無く、自分の意思を通すことが許される確固たる自己を
確立できていけたらいいな…
