見知らぬ者の写真
アップル・コアが関わる初の大規模ビートルズ・ショー「ラブ」開幕 - 米国

劇なんかをしているから、写真をとられることがたまにある。こんな無名でも「とらせてください」といいに来る人がいるのだから、無名じゃなかっ
たらどんなことになるのかと思うけれど、そんなことは杞憂であり、どうでもいい。
とにかく、とられることがある。その際、そのご本人、ようするに「とらせてください」というその方と一緒にとるのなら、何の問題もないのだけれど、ときたま僕ひとりをとろうとする人がいる。もちろん、せっかく劇を見に来てくれた人なのだし「こんなおっさんでごめんね」と思うことはあっても、断る気などこちらには微塵も、ない。ないけれども「ふ」と思う。もし、この「とらせてください」というてる人が不幸にも何かの事故、もしくは事件にまきこまれて突然亡くなった場合、今とられているこの僕単体の写真はどうなるのか。
かりにミチコさんということにしておく。
ミチコさんは残念ながらお亡くなりになる。お葬式が執り行われることになり、家族もしくはそれに類する方々に葬儀屋が慇懃に「祭壇にお飾りするお写真を」と小声で語りかけてくる。家族もしくはそれに類する方々はミチコさんの主亡き部屋へおもむき「今はデジタルの時代だし写真を紙焼きにして置いておくことはあまりないのかもしれないね」などとささやきながら、タンスの引き出しを開けてみる。するとそこにきちんと整理された小さなアルバムがあらわれる。几帳面なミチコさんだったのである。ゆっくりめくってみる。溌剌と笑うミチコさん、少し伏し目がちのミチコさん、友人とはしゃぐミチコさん。小太りの体をかくすようにしてピースする水着姿のミチコさん、恋人らしき若者に寄り添うミチコさんといった様々な在りし日のミチコさんがそこにはいる。あらためて涙する家族もしくはそれに類する方々。そのとき、突然見知らぬおっさんの写真があらわれる。おっさんは、何をした後なのかよくわからないけれど、何だか少し上気して汗ばんでいる。汗ばみながら満更でも無さげな気色の悪い微笑みをうかべている。そしてその不気味な表情の裏に何やらえたいの知れぬ不思議な距離感をかもしだしている。「有名人？」と誰かがいう。庶民のカンの鋭さには恐れ入る。それはたしかに、よく有名人なんかが写真をとられる際、かもしだす特有の距離感に似ている。しかし、おっさんは有名人ではない。それが証拠にその場に居合わせた誰ひとりそのおっさんに見覚えがない。けれどもそんな見知らぬおっさんの微笑み写真ではあるけれど、ミチコさんの遺品である。捨てるわけにもゆかず、家族もしくはそれに類する方々は、そっと、やさしく丁寧に、それでもきっと知らず知らずのうちに誰かが捨ててくれるであろう場所、そうね雑誌の背表紙の裏かなんかに、写真をはさみこみ、何ごともなかったかのようにミチコさんの笑顔写真を胸に、出てゆく。おっさんは背表紙の裏で相変わらず不気味に微笑んでいる。
みたいなことに、なってもいいけどなりませんか、と。
先日、地震でこわれた家から拾い集めてきた写真類を１０年以上ぶりに、突然思い立ち整理を始めたところ、やはりあらわれた「見知らぬ者の写真」。誰なのかわからぬ子供の写真がいくつかと、誰なのかわからぬサングラスをかけたおっさん。誰なのかを尋ねたくとも父も母も死んでおり、僕に確かめるすべはなく。だからとゆって何だか捨てる気にもならず、仕方がないので、アルバムの裏表紙にはさんである。
いずれみなさんのお手元にもきっとあるであろう「見知らぬ者の写真」を集めて「見知らぬ者らアルバム」とでも題して発行したいものである。
コリーとスージー夫妻。
知っている人は「ああコリーとスージーね」ですむものが、知らないというだけで話はここまで広がる。怠惰はね、こうしてときおり役に立つ。

わたしがもし幸運にも、山下さんの御写真を撮影させていただくことができたら、汗ばんだ汗がよく見えるほど引き伸ばし、おしゃれな額に入れ、部屋にどーんと飾り、家族・客人に見せびらかすでしょう(笑)。「誰？」とゆわれれば、「え、知らないの?!」と切り返し。これならわたしが死んでも、「ああ、大好きな人だったんだな」と遺族も大事にしてくれるでしょう。
もしもしもし山下さんと並んで撮影ができるとゆう超幸運に見舞われたら、「こんな不細工なわたしと山下さんが共に写っていいものだろうか･･･」と悩むでしょう。でも、それも家族友人知人に見せびらかすに決まっています。だからみんなに知れ渡り、大丈夫。
そしてコリー・フェルドマン君。懐かしいですね。「Stand by me」でやぼったいメガネをかけていた彼とあまり変わってませんね。妻のスージーは知りませんが。

そうか～『スタンドバイミー』の男の子だったんですね!!!
すぐDVDで確認しちゃいました～～ホントだ～～
メジャーな映画は…『スターウォーズ』ですら観た事がない私ですが
リバーフェニックスに興味を持ち、3年前にDVDを購入していました。
特典には、メイキングや大人になった少年たちのインタビューが満載で
本編とは別にまたお奨めです。
でも、その中に若くして亡くなったリバーのインタビューが無いのが
ちょっと悲しくて、泣けてきますけれど…
ビートルズとは関係ないですけれど…(笑)
お奨め作品なので、よろしかったらこの夏ぜひぜひ(*^_^*)

はじめまして。
突然にコメントに参加してもよいのか迷いながら、書いてしまいました。
FICTIONのHP眠れぬ日々を、なんとなく楽しみに、時々読んでは、にやりとしていたのですが・・・。
久しぶりにのぞいてみたら、ブログが。
なんだか、にやりとできる機会が増えてうれしいです。
めんどくさい心に負けずに、日々更新される事を願ってます。

はるか昔、コリーが結婚して離婚したっていう女性の
名前は、スージーさんじゃあなかったような・・・。
（彼が離婚したという私の記憶が間違っていたら、
すいませんです）
んで、これが、現在の奥様なのね。
なんだかハリウッドスターってやたらとくっついたり
離れたする人達が多いんだもん。
この方の結婚は何回目なのかしらなんて、失礼なことを考えてしまったです。
