芸術品「人造いくら」を見てみたい！

好きな食べものといえば、お寿司をあげる。
米粒、ごはんが好きなのもある。
お肉より、やはり魚が好きだ。
最近は、浅草雷門近くにある立ち食い寿司「まぐろ人」がお気に入り。
１０人くらい入るカウンターのお店。こちらは雷門出張所。
オレンジ通りには、座って食べる浅草本店がある。
くわしくは、まぐろ人ＨＰ。
立ち食いだと、手軽に入れる。
最初のみ２カンの注文だけど、１カンからでもOK。
最近のわたしのお気に入りは、しゃぶしゃぶサーモンだ。
とにかく、おいしい。
浅草にお越しのときは、ぜひ立ち寄ってください。
今日は、いくらの話。
といっても、人造いくら。
つまり、フェイク商品である。
『食品の裏側』でおなじみの安部司さんも、テレビでいかに簡単に人造いくらができるかをやっていた。
このコピー商品は、日本カーバイド工業（化学品・樹脂会社）が開発した商品。
天然色素で着色したサラダ油と海草エキスが成分。
目玉の部分は、サラダ油だとか。
接着剤を入れるカプセルの研究をしていたら、イクラに似たものができたことがきっかけだったとか・・・。商品名「つぶつぶ」。
そんな芸術品、見たことがないので、見てみたい。
ひょっとして、わたしも食べたことがあったかもしれない？
ホンモノのいくらと、見た目も味もそっくりだとか。
どこで見ることができるのか、日本カーバイト工業に電話で聞いてみた。
電話に出た女性から、「そういう質問されるの嫌です」というのが伝わってきた。いまは、つくっていないようだ。
きっといろいろたたかれたのかな・・・。
わたしは、いくらはそんなに好んで食べないのだが、卵を塩漬けにし、口の中でプチンとはじける触感が好きだという人も多い。
ホンモノのイクラは、熱湯に浸すと表面が白っぽく固まる。白濁する。
人造いくらは白濁しない。
これが見分け方。
いまは、出回っているのかよくわからない。
でも、「冷蔵庫にいれなくて置いていても、腐らなかった」というすじこの話を先月聞いた。
回転寿司で気になったら、一粒お茶にでも入れてみたらわかる。白くなったらホンモノのいくら。白くならなかったら人造いくら。
