初夏ですね。
今日の東京はとっても暑く、事務所で「エネルギーをもっていかれる～」と騒いでいます。
このバナナおいしいかしら。
バナナはネグロスのバナナを食べたら、ドールとかのバナナは違う物に思えてきました。
今、さくらんぼが店頭に並んでいます。
それも、きれいに、きれいに。
それも、とーっても高い値段が付けられて。
わたしには手が出ない値段です。
１キロ１万円近くするものもあります。お正月には３００グラムていどで３～５万円で売られ、赤い宝石と呼ばれてもいます。
■さくらんぼといえば山形
サクランボの生産地として有名なのが山形県。県の木にもなっています。
数年前、山形のある農家の人が「さくらんぼは農薬なくてはできない。わたしたちは食べない。自家用のものは、農薬ないものを少しつくって食べている」と話してくれたことがあります。
それを聞いて、ますます嫌になりました。
農薬なし、あるいは減農薬のさくらんぼが売っていたら、わたしまで教えて。わたしも見つけたら、報告します・・・。
と言って、早何年。
毎年スーパーに出ているのを見て、「きれいだな」「高いな」と思ってこの頃を過ごしています。
気持ち的には、「買えない」ではなく「買わない」。
今週、ワイドショーでさくらんぼのどろうぼう被害対策のことを放送していました。どうやって盗まれないかと。毎年盗まれたりして、さくらんぼ報道は季節の風物詩になっているようです。
でも、わたしからみると、「盗んだ人、さくらんぼの農薬どうしているのかな？ 大丈夫かしら？」と思ってしまいます。
